Reviewed: 09 November 2023the house was clean, comfortable and the rooms were a good size! there also were a lot of tools to use in the kitchen which was great. the only downside was that you had to go outside to go to the toilet which was a bit annoying when the weather was really bad...
but overall i had a great stay!

The architecture of the house is a mixture of Japanese style and Western style. Therefore, you can enjoy a Japanese living culture as well as the convenience of a Western house.

Reviewed: 11 February 2019I really loved my 6 week stay at Fujibakama House. I shared the home with 3 other animated and gracious women travelers. We shared tips and information and cooking together. The house is so tastefully restored and respectfully historic while having all the amenities anyone could dream of. Our very gracious landlady and her son live in the adjacent home - they were absolutely wonderful. The house if filled with light, it was a joyful stay. The location is excellent in relation to the central station, while being in a quiet neighborhood. I felt like I was blessed to stay there and am dreaming of returning.
