For location, this is great place for who want to travel and explore Kyoto more than a month. The convenience from here to kujo station, as well as walking distance to Kyoto station (10-15 minutes). Also, popular bus stop (207) is 5 minutes away from place.

Homemates are friendly and respectful about personal privacy. I love it.

Facilities are too good for home cooking. There is a supermarket nearby, which is around 5-6 minutes away from house.

the house was clean, comfortable and the rooms were a good size! there also were a lot of tools to use in the kitchen which was great. the only downside was that you had to go outside to go to the toilet which was a bit annoying when the weather was really bad...
but overall i had a great stay!

I really loved my stay at Fujibakama, the house was clean, the people were nice and the location was convenient. This is the house I loved staying at the most during my time in Japan. I will definitely return in the future!

I had a good time staying at Fujibakama House. They have everything you need to start a life at the house. The architecture of the house is a mixture of Japanese style and Western style. Therefore, you can enjoy a Japanese living culture as well as the convenience of a Western house.

I really loved my 6 week stay at Fujibakama House. I shared the home with 3 other animated and gracious women travelers. We shared tips and information and cooking together. The house is so tastefully restored and respectfully historic while having all the amenities anyone could dream of. Our very gracious landlady and her son live in the adjacent home - they were absolutely wonderful. The house if filled with light, it was a joyful stay. The location is excellent in relation to the central station, while being in a quiet neighborhood. I felt like I was blessed to stay there and am dreaming of returning.
