Very nice place, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
The room that I’ve rent is very nice and convenient; the utensils also quite complete. The location is very good, near Kyoto univ hospital (walking distance). The housing staff is very helpful, once I have a problem with my bathroom water conduit, and the staff directly go to the housing on the same day and fix the problem, My suggestion: might you could also provide electric kettle in the room. Thank you J-stay for the convinient place to stay.
The house has a great location in a touristic and scenic part of the city. It is also very close to Kyoto university, especially by bike. I personally didn’t like the lack of a shared kitchen/common space to hang out with and share meals with housemates. The stove in each room is not a replacement for a proper kitchen. Also, the insulation in the house is rather poor, and in winter it can get quite cold, resulting in excessive energy consume due to air conditioning.
I liked staying at this sharehouse. The facilities are good, although it gets quite cold inside in the winter. The kitchen and living area are really big, and there was no problem using the joint facilities like showers. There is a weekly cleaning schedule for the residents, so the house is kept clean and tidy.
I stayed at Height Sanpo for a year and it allowed me to live with locals in a great area in the north of Kyoto during all this time. I really enjoyed my experience here and I thank Jstay team for helping me quickly and efficiently in any situation here since my arrival in the country.
